Coole Park

Coole Park was the home of Lady Augusta Gregory during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Lady Gregory was very active in Irish affairs as well as being a playwright and one of the founders of the Abbey Theatre in Dublin. Her friend, neighbor, and frequent visitor to Coole Park was William Butler Yeats.
