Fine Art Photography of Italy
“La vita è Bella” – Life is Beautiful
Fine Art Photography of Italy features black and white photography from not only Rome, but also Florence, and above all Venice. In my opinion, Italy is one of the most visually appealing places to visit, thanks to its architecture, art, history, not to mention the food. Unlike any other place, even the most common objects are art forms in Italy. Gleaming colors of gelato, striped shirts of the gondoliers, and, of course, the glistening of the Campari cocktails.
My first visit to Italy
Furthermore, I have traveled to Italy twice, and equally, I was awestruck by the beauty. My first visit to Italy was approximately 30 years ago and as a matter of fact, I only visited Rome on that trip. I got a complimentary stay in a Roman apartment for two weeks being that I was lucky to have a sister living there.
Revisiting Italy
I revisited Italy in 2018 when I traveled to Florence, Venice, and Rome. All three cities are masterpieces of artful living. Traveling by train between those cities allowed my husband and me to enjoy the incredible beauty of the Italian countryside. This experience in Italy was so beautiful that it made me cry when it was time to go home.
Venice (Fine art photography)
Venice “Serenissima” is a picturesque, romantic city. Florence “Firenze” contains museums filled with masterpieces of art. My photographs from Venice include The Grand Canal, Saint Mark’s Basilica, and Basilica di Santa Maria Della Salute. Of course, you must take a trip on a gondola in the canal but be sure to take pictures while you travel the grand canal. However, equally important, is a trip to Saint Mark’s Square.
Rome (Fine art photography)
Rome “Roma” has magnificent architecture and ancient, historical and religious sites. Photographs from Rome include St. Peter’s Basilica and also the Arch of Constantine, The Coliseum, Victor Emanuel Monument, and the Temple of Venus and Rome. Above all, the remnants of the Roman Empire can be seen in these buildings.
Florence (Fine art Photography)
Florence features the Triumphal Arch of the Lorraine and Florence Cathedral (also known as The Duomo). Not to mention the cathedral was built in gothic design almost 800 years ago. Additionally, you may tour the city and see medieval architecture everywhere. You could also tour the museums and also see the famous sculptures of Michael Angelo.
Conclusion
I invite you to take a visual tour of Italy through my fine art photography of Italy in the hope that you will be similarly captivated by the beauty of Italy. I hope to visit Italy again soon and capture more spectacular images in the other fabulous cities so come back and visit this website when you can.
